Etymology: In reference to the large nasal bone of the type specimen.

Holotype: PPC-2

Locality: Phu Phok, Kok Prsil Sub-District, Phu Phan District, Sakon Nakhon Province, Thailand.

Horizon: Sao Khua Formation.

Biostratigraphy:

Age: Berriasian Stage, Lower Neocomian Subepoch, - Early Barremian Stage, Lower Gallic Subepoch, Early Cretaceous Epoch, Early Cretaceous.

Material: Nearly complete rostrum and dentary.
